John Peters is an archaeologist who left his Ivy League university after an unfounded accusation of plagiarism in his dissertation. I gave this book 5 stars because it held my interest from beginning to ending; and even though the location was anunlikely resting place for Alexander. It is a unique idea that proves
that it is best to investigate potential archeology sites even though the clue subject (people and culture), originated far
away, in another part of the World. The inclusion of terrorists, and
a fanatical scientist, certainly added plenty of excitement, with
two romances as well. The well developed characters added
credibility to the story line. I recommend this book to anyone
who has an interest in archaeology, science, action, and drama.

This book is exhilarating! The characters are intriguing. There are so many twists in the plot that you can't put the book down. If you love mystery novels such as I, it's a must read. I'm now checking out the other books written by Mr. Scott.
Really enjoyed this book. Was a fast read that I could not put down once I began reading. Well written and brings together history and mystery into a tight package. Makes me want to read more - which is a compliment to the author.
This is a fast moving action novel that after you pick it up you do not want to put it down until you finish it.The action is nonstop.I highly recommend this book and look forward to the next exciting volume in this series.

Very nice hole some story with some science, intrigue, and suspens. An easy read that fun. Good for teenagers who like adventure. The volcano history got a little repetitive. Did develope an attraction with the characters which expect ro increase in the next in the series. Well done.
I found no actual mystery to be solved in this book touted to be a mystery thriller. The many errors, both grammatical and typographical, were disruptive to reading. It matters not that the author apologised for them.
I thoroughly enjoyed this fast paced thriller. Robert Scott has mixed archaeology and international intrigue together in this spell binding mystery. I read this book in one sitting and finished feeling both educated and entertained. Looking forward to the next in this series.
